Job Overview
Under general supervision of the Vice President of Direct Services, the Director of Employment and Youth Services oversees and is responsible for the development and strategic growth of the Employment and Youth Services provided by the Regional Center for Independent Living and the Youth Services provided by the Center for Disability Rights.
Supervises staff providing employment and youth services for both the Regional Center for Independent Living and the Center for Disability Rights.
Manages and provides employment services to individuals with disabilities.
Sets and monitors completion of departmental goals and objectives in consultation with senior management, ensuring that the department achieves or exceeds budgeted fee-for-service revenue.
Work with the Finance Department to complete, document, track, and collect all billing.
In conjunction with senior management and the finance department, develops the budget and manages the departmental finances.
Serves as the organizational liaison to funders, addressing any concerns or issues that are identified.
Prepares grant and funding requests.
Develops departmental policies and procedures, ensuring they are implemented in an evenhanded and fair manner across all teams.
Compiles and prepares reports for internal use and funders.
Identifies training needs and secures necessary resources.
Provides staff support to the Board's Program Assessment Committee and participates in committee meetings.
Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISION:
This position has direct reports and regular responsibility for the work of others.
WORK CONDITIONS (ENVIRONMENT AND SCHEDULE):
This office-based job operates in an office environment with moderate to light noise. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
VI. Physical Demands AND TRAVEL REQuIREMENTS:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Local travel, including travel to our Geneva office, is required. Some out-of-town travel may be required to participate in work-related meetings, conferences, or trainings.
VII. Qualifications:
1. Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in human services, or related field required with five years of managerial or project coordination experience. Experience in vocational services and services for the Disabled youth preferred.
2. Skills and Competencies:
· Strong leadership, managerial and project management skills.
· Excellent personal and written communication skills.
· Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Impeccable time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Pay: $70,000.00 per year
