QSR Group looking for Senior HR Leader to continue to build-out and manage current HR Staff and Processes.
Job Description
The HR Manager provides ongoing support and guidance with human resources in areas of Recruitment & Termination, Payroll, Performance & Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits, Training & Development, Compliance, Employee Relations, and Workplace Safety. It is the main responsibility of the HR Manager to ensure the set processes and systems are executed and that their client(s) are happy. The HR Manager should be knowledgeable on every aspect of HR functionalities.
HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATION
- Create/revise employee handbooks
- Create/revise job descriptions for all company positions
- Focus on Recruitment & Retention: Initiate Job Posts, Screen Candidates, Interview, Onboard & Implement Employee Retention Programs
- Manage Employee Terminations
- Compensation i.e. insurance, PTO, etc.
- Supervise Performance Management
- Involve in Conflict Management
- Implement and/or communicate new or updated HR, benefits, payroll policies and procedures, keep employee documentations in compliance
PAYROLL ADMINISTRATION
- Manage payroll data entry of new hires, terminations and status changes*
- Process weekly or bi-weekly payroll transmission
- Handle W-2 and 1099 administration
- Answer and resolve all employee payroll related questions/problems/issues with pay
- Track and manage paid time off (PTO)/vacation/holiday pay
- Handle administration, compliance, and tracking of paid sick leave
- Handle employment verifications
- Set up and process payroll garnishments
- Ensure I-9 compliance + conduct annual audit (set up/maintain E-Verify if applicable)
- Maintain and ensure employee file accuracy and compliance
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS ADMINISTRATION
- Manage Health, Life & Disability Insurance Annual Renewal/Open Enrollment**
- Handle administration and communication of retirement saving program
- Manage administration of Workers Compensation claims and handle Annual Renewal
- Affordable Care Act Compliance
- Track, process, and manage COBRA administration
- Track, process, and manage LOAs, FMLA. and USERRA
- Oversee and manage Unemployment Claims
- Work directly with clients HRIS/payroll company (or help them find the right HRIS/payroll company for their business)
- Work directly with client's insurance broker (or help them find the right broker for their business)
TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT
- Conducts annual training and development needs assessment.
- Develops training and development programs and objectives.
- Administers spending against the departmental budget.
- Obtains and /or develops effective training materials utilizing a variety of media.
- Trains and coaches managers, supervisors and others involved in employee development efforts.
- Plans, organizes, facilitates and orders supplies for employee development and training events.
- Develops and maintains organizational communications such as intranet bulletin boards and newsletters to ensure employees have knowledge of training and development events and resources.
- Conducts follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.
- Modifies programs as needed.
- Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
TALENT & PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
- Assessing the talent of prospective employees
- Overseeing and motivating a team of Talent Representatives to ensure company objectives and targets are met
- COMPLIANCE, EMPLOYEE RELATIONS & WORKPLACE SAFETY
- Offering counseling services to employees
- Participating in recruitment and dismissal processes
- Collaborate with HR process admins to review the maintenance of required compliance documentation internal control practices is in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
- Through a solid working relationship with the company's Legal department, keeps abreast of changes in laws, regulations and guidelines
- Policy development and communication
- Manage the drug and alcohol screen process for the organization
- Design and assist the HR team in the education and training of managers and the HR organization on regulatory and compliance issues
- Maintains compliance with I-9 Records and E-Verification requirements
- Manages the process for creating and maintaining Human Resources Standard Operating Procedures
- HR Administrator of Compliance Training records and reporting
- Ensure that process maps, and documentation remain current and that process changes are effectively managed from a control perspective
- Ensure Management and Employees are working in a stable, healthy, positive and safe workplace environment.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- 3-5 years of experience in HR, payroll and/or benefits
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources
- SPHR/PHR Certifications is a plus
- Proven work experience as an HR MANAGER in any Quick Service Restaurant In Experience and Ongoing Education with HR Administration, US Labor Laws, Conflict Management, Compensation, etc.
- Strong computer skills, adaptive to HR Platforms, etc.

Pay: $85, $110,000.00 per year
