Overview:
Schedule- 4x10-hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Weekend rotation: 1 weekend per month
- Call: Approximately 5 nights per month

Equipment & Technology- Four Philips CVx 3D Echo Systems
- MERGE Echo Reporting System
- EPIC EMR
Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of adult echocardiography procedures including:
Transthoracic Echocardiogram (TTE)
- Limited / Follow-Up Echocardiogram
- Lumason Contrast Echocardiogram
- Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE) with Cardioversion
- Echo-Guided Pericardiocentesis
- Prepare and maintain TD100 TEE Scope Cleaning Processor
- Collaborate with cardiologists and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care
- Accurately document findings and generate reports through MERGE Echo Reporting System
- Utilize EPIC Electronic Medical Record for documentation and coordination of care
Qualifications:
Education & Certification Requirements- Post–high school specialized training in Cardiac Sonography required
- Graduate of an Accredited Cardiac Sonographer Program
- Registry eligible at time of hire
- RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) credential required within 12 months of hire
- BLS certification required
