Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for procedures
  • Perform ultrasound/vascular/echocardiogram examinations
  • Operate and maintain equipment
  • Analyze and interpret imaging results
  • Collaborate with medical team
  • Maintain accurate patient records

Required skills and qualifications

  • Associate degree from an accredited college or university in related field
  • Active registration with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
  • Valid Florida state license as an Ultrasound Technologist
  • BLS certification
  • Proficient in computer software (eRad, Athena, PACS, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • 6 months to 1 year of ultrasound experience; general and vascular required
  • Echo experience preferred, but not required
  • ARRT and/or RVT registered
  • ACLS certification
