JOB SUMMARY

The Events & Partnerships Specialist plays a key role in managing and executing OnPoint's internal and external event activations, as well as leading our high-profile sponsorships with OSAA and Live Nation. This role supports approximately half of the annual activations and is responsible for building strong relationships, maintaining brand excellence, and ensuring that each event meets OnPoint's strategic goals. Evening, weekend work, and regional travel are required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan and execute OnPoint-sponsored events.
  • Coordinate event and activation logistics including setup, branded materials, staffing, and event supplies.
  • Manage multiple key marketing partnerships, involving contract negotiation of deliverables and budget, overall coordination and ongoing support.
  • Provide concept and execution for varying levels of onsite presence, engaging activation events, championship award support, sponsorships and advertising.
  • Lead execution of sponsorship deliverables, such as signage, ticket allocations, media mentions, hospitality, and on-site activations.
  • Create branded, engaging experiences at championship events, concerts, and other partner activations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to elevate visibility of events and partnerships across digital marketing, PR, and social channels.
  • Track and report on event outcomes, including post-event metrics, engagement, and ROI.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on effective event engagement strategies that meet the goals of the event owner/requestor.
  • Source venues, recommend and engage catering services, acquire necessary technology, and coordinate the development of event materials to ensure the successful execution of high-quality events
  • Work in collaboration with management to negotiate agreements with suppliers, outside providers, and subcontractors, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising service quality.
  • Maintain promotional inventory, event assets, and ensure timely delivery to partner sites.
  • Coordinate summer event assistants, providing clear work schedules and task guidance.
  • Maintain efficient systems for managing event vehicles, storage, inventory, and swag.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador at external events, ensuring consistent representation of OnPoint's mission, values, and brand identity.
  • Travel regularly to attend and audit events, ensuring quality and deliverable execution.
  • Contribute to post-event recaps and reports with visual assets, metrics, and insights.
  • Support strategic planning and present new ideas for sponsorships and experiential growth.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in event planning, partnerships, or brand engagement.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs and travel regularly.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Adobe Creative Suite, experience is a plus.
  • Experience with live events, concerts, or sports marketing strongly preferred.
