Job Summary:
Manage the daily operations of the assigned branch in conjunction with the Branch Manager.
Job Specific Responsibilities and Duties:
- Distribute workload, prioritize and monitor completion of tasks.
- Open new and maintain existing bank accounts.
- Communicate branch initiatives, developments and problems.
- Ensure branch is in compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Monitor staff performance and address performance issues as appropriate.
- Prepare staff schedules managing high to low servicing periods.
- Assist customers and staff with resolving problems.
- Approve large currency transactions.
- Read and review available literature pertaining to regulations governing accounts.
Basic Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming calls, e-mails, mail and in-person requests.
- Comply with company policies, practices and procedures.
- Attend meetings and prepare follow-up as needed.
- Set goals, prioritize and execute duties of the position.
- Manage documents, files and electronic information in an organized, efficient and secure manner.
- Represent company as a professional in appearance and manner.
- Communicate with the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
- Perform quality and quantity of duties as expected for position.
- Complete company required training courses as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Has working knowledge of basic teller and service rep functions.
- Has demonstrated good management skills.
- One year related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
