Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Unarmed Mall Patrol Driver in Kirkland, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining visible throughout retail and mall locations. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment, supporting both tenants and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the property by vehicle as well as on foot. - Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location, including both the business interior and its perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
- Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
- Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and/or local authorities as required.
- Document all incidents, observations, and activities as per Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
