You will work collaboratively with internal and external partners, communicate client requirements, and proactively manage project-related issues. With your strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in construction project management, you will contribute to the successful delivery of a large tenant improvement construction project.What this job involves:You will serve as the owner's local representative responsible for monitoring the construction of a new sales and training facility for a large global client.You will be trained to use and implement the client's systems and programs for delivering excellence and high-quality outcomes.  You will be empowered to thrive, as we believe the most effective teams are built when everyone has the opportunity to contribute and succeed.You will have the chance to work in a culture of collaboration.Additionally, we highly value your well-being and champion inclusivity and a sense of belonging, fostering a supportive and inspiring work environment.What your day-to-day will look like:Daily meetings and jobsite walk with contractors and vendors to discuss current and upcoming activities.Assist with completing daily field reports.Monitor contractor and vendor quality control programs.Attend weekly Owner, Architect, Contractor meetings and other recurring project coordination meetings.Update onsite job board with project metrics, schedule and progress information.Assist with the review and processing of contractor and vendor invoices.In this role as a Project Coordinator at JLL, you will be an integral part of our team, collectively shaping a brighter way for our clients, ourselves, and our fellow employees.Collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and vendors, to ensure effective communication and seamless execution of project activities.Prepare and maintain project documentation.Coordinate project meetings, workshops, and presentations, ensuring all necessary materials and logistics are in place.Assist in the procurement and management of project resources, including equipment, materials, and subcontractors, as required.Support the client and project team in resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise, demonstrating a solution-oriented mindset.Working hours are Monday-Friday from 7am-4pm at the client's Vancouver project site plus the possibility of overtime hours.Required qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or related field.1-2+ years of experience in project coordination or a similar role within the construction industry.Must be comfortable wearing Personal Protective Equipment for jobsite walks including hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses and gloves.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as MS Project or similar applications.Solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies.Ability to quickly learn and adopt new software and technology.Attention to detail and analytical mindset, with the ability to identify and resolve issues proactively.Preferred qualifications:Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome challenges.A positive attitude and a passion for continuous learning and professional growth.Location:On-site – Vancouver, WALocation:On-site –Portland, ORIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply, even if you don't meet all the requirements.  We're interested in getting to know you and what you bring to the tablePersonalized benefits that support personal well-being and growth:JLL recognizes the impact that the workplace can have on your wellness, so we offer a supportive culture and comprehensive benefits package that prioritizes mental, physical and emotional health.
