Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. This role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in various accounting software to support our financial operations effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Process accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing and payment processing.
  • Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Maintain the general ledger by recording journal entries and managing debits and credits.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries.
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks for data entry and financial analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and internal controls related to accounts receivable activities.
  • Conduct analysis of accounts receivable aging reports to identify overdue accounts and initiate collection efforts.

Experience

  • Proven experience in accounts receivable or a related accounting role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with financial concepts, corporate accounting practices, and bookkeeping principles is essential.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks).
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate financial reporting and account reconciliation.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining accuracy in data entry.
