Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Finance Manager to lead our financial operations and drive fiscal excellence across the organization. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to shape financial strategies, ensure compliance with international accounting standards, and support sustainable growth. As a key member of our leadership team, you will oversee comprehensive financial management activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and risk analysis. Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and analysis of financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), and IAS (International Accounting Standards).
- Oversee corporate accounting functions such as general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, cost accounting, and account analysis.
- Manage regulatory reporting requirements for government agencies and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and standards.
- Drive treasury management activities including cash flow analysis, investment management, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Develop and implement strategic financial plans aligned with organizational goals, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
- Conduct risk analysis to identify potential financial vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
- Oversee revenue recognition processes in compliance with ASC 606 standards and ensure accurate revenue management.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, interpret complex financial data, and communicate insights to executive leadership for informed decision-making.
- Lead audits and coordinate with external auditors to ensure transparency and accuracy of financial records.
- Supervise finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and professional development.
- Support business development efforts through financial modeling, profitability analysis, and investment evaluation.
- Manage governmental accounting procedures related to grants or non-profit funding sources if applicable.
- Utilize advanced financial software tools for bookkeeping, balance sheet reconciliation, account reconciliation, and financial analysis tasks.
Requirements
- Proven experience in corporate finance or public accounting with a strong background in technical accounting practices such as accrual accounting and cost management.
- Extensive knowledge of IFRS, IAS standards, GAAP regulations, ASC 606 revenue recognition standards, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Demonstrated expertise in risk management, fiscal management, budget development, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Strong understanding of governmental or non-profit accounting principles is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately and effectively communicate findings.
- Leadership experience in managing finance teams or cross-functional projects is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with advanced financial software systems for general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, cash flow analysis, and investment management.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in account analysis and balance sheet reconciliation processes.
