Medical Assistant / Front Desk – Obesity & Aesthetics Clinic

Hollywood, FL | Full-Time | In-Office (5 days/week)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated, wellness-minded Medical Assistant who will serve as both a front desk receptionist and back office clinical assistant. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, values patient-centered care, and has an interest in nutrition, exercise, and aesthetics.

The right candidate will be energetic, professional, and passionate about helping patients on their wellness and beauty journeys.

Key ResponsibilitiesFront Desk & Administrative Duties

  • Welcome and check in patients with warmth and professionalism.
  • Manage appointment scheduling, phone calls, and patient inquiries.
  • Maintain an organized and inviting reception area.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and verifying patient information.
  • Collect payments and assist with patient billing or service packages when needed.

Back Office & Clinical Support

  • Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, vitals, and chart documentation.
  • Prepare and assist with aesthetic procedures (e.g., Botox, fillers, PDO threads) and wellness treatments (e.g., IV therapy, weight loss injections).
  • Administer injections and medications under provider supervision.
  • Prepare exam rooms, maintain medical supplies, and ensure infection control standards.
  • Support obesity management visits, including body composition testing, nutrition education, and exercise guidance as trained.
  • Document accurately in the EMR system and maintain patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA) preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a medical aesthetic, wellness, or weight loss clinic strongly preferred.
  • Passionate about wellness, nutrition, and fitness — and comfortable discussing lifestyle changes with patients.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, patient-focused demeanor.
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in computer systems and EMR documentation.
  • Must be available to work in-office, Tuesday through Saturday
