We are looking for self-motivated, analytical, personable, entrepreneurial, and methodical individuals to join our Client Support team as a Fixed Income Analyst. This position provides an excellent opportunity to solve challenging quantitative and technological problems from major customers in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.  

As a member of our client support team, you will speak directly with our clients and use your critical thinking and communication skills to address their business needs. Through these interactions, you will help support our next-generation fixed-income and front-to-risk software packages through collaboration with cross-functional teams including our quantitative development team and product managers. In addition, you will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for both North American and European fixed-income needs, providing critical insight to drive product growth in both regions.  

Potential candidates should possess strong mathematical and quantitative reasoning skills, excellent problem-solving skills, and strong English-language communication skills. Knowledge of finance is strongly recommended. 

What You'll Do:

Provide analytical support, technical assistance and software training for new and existing clients in both North America and Europe via phone, e-mail and VoIP channels. Serve as a first line of defense for production-critical issues for EMEA clients, using knowledge of computing and fixed-income markets to solve challenging problems. Consult on issues ranging from general system usage to more sophisticated numerical problems. Function as an important link between developers and clients to analyse product gaps, expand program functionality, and assist in prioritizing business requirements.Help develop and execute a comprehensive quality assurance suite implementing industry-standard quality assurance procedures. 

What We're Looking For: 

BA/BS degree (or regional equivalent) in a quantitative or STEM discipline such as mathematics, computer science, engineering, physical sciences, etc… Analytical experience using a data-driven approach to solve problems and create customer insight.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex insights to both technical and non-technical audiences in English. Experience navigating complex cross-functional landscapes in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment. Strong computer skills including… 
Hands-on experience with Windows including an understanding of Windows network administration, Windows filesystems, and computer architecture.Experience with Microsoft Office suite applications including automation and scripting through Microsoft Excel functions and macros. A continuous eagerness to learn with a strong independent drive for researching and synthesizing complex concepts.

Extra Credit:

Proficiency with Python via Visual Studio Code.Proficiency with SQL and database architecture using Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle. Experience with Cloud computing including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. Experience with Ubuntu Linux including knowledge of Linux filesystem, shell scripting (bash/vim/emacs), and permissions. Relevant coursework or internship experience in macroeconomics, quantitative finance, or a related discipline including coursework relevant to bonds, options, and other derivatives.
