Position Summary
The Talent & Acquisition Manager plays a critical role in driving Denali's talent strategy by leading full-cycle recruiting efforts across all departments and regions. This individual will partner with leadership to attract, engage, and retain top-tier talent aligned with Denali's mission, culture, and values. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, strategic thinker with a passion for building relationships, optimizing recruitment processes, and strengthening the company's employer brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee recruiting strategies to attract diverse, high-quality candidates across multiple business units.
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, create job descriptions, and establish clear hiring criteria.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiations.
- Lead and mentor the recruiting team to ensure timely and effective hiring outcomes.
- Utilize data-driven insights to improve hiring efficiency, reduce time-to-fill, and enhance candidate experience.
- Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to forecast workforce needs and succession planning.
- Oversee the use of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and ensure compliance with all federal and state employment regulations.
- Enhance Denali's employer brand through creative outreach, social media, and community engagement.
- Develop strong talent pipelines for key and hard-to-fill positions.
- Monitor and report recruiting metrics, providing regular updates to leadership.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the recruitment process.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven track record in full-cycle recruiting for a variety of roles, including technical, operational, and professional positions.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS tools.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR certification.
- Experience recruiting in logistics, manufacturing, or environmental/sustainability industries.
- Demonstrated success in leading recruiting initiatives during periods of company growth or transformation.
