Location: On-site, Downtown LA, CA including our neighboring infusion suites in (SoCal -DTLA and San Fernando Valley)

Position Overview: The Facilities Manager is responsible for the overall maintenance, safety, and operation of Apex Infusion's facilities. This includes managing building systems, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, overseeing vendor relationships, and supporting clinical and administrative teams with facilities-related needs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced in facilities management within a healthcare or clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track and manage inventory for infusion medications and supplies.
  • Receive and properly store medications shipped from our central headquarters in accordance with all regulatory and company protocols.
  • Maintain industry compliance with facility safety, medication storage, and confidentiality standards.
  • Oversee day-to-day facility operations, including maintenance, janitorial services, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal health and safety regulations, including OSHA, ADA, and healthcare-specific standards.
  • Coordinate with external contractors, service providers, and vendors for repairs, installations, and inspections.
  • Manage facility-related budgets, including procurement of supplies, service contracts, and capital improvements.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and ensure safety standards are met.
  • Support project management, office moves, and layout optimization for clinical and administrative areas.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, permits, repairs, and service agreements.
  • Collaborate closely with clinical leadership to ensure patient care areas are functional and compliant with standards.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in facilities management, preferably in a healthcare, clinical, or regulated environment.
  • Experience managing vendor contracts and facility budgets.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to respond to emergency situations after hours if needed.
  • Prior experience in an ambulatory infusion center or suite, specialty pharmacy, or logistics role.
  • Ability to lift boxes of 30 lbs. or less, and handle refrigerated medications with care.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building and maintaining relationships.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools, including CPR+.
  • Knowledge infusion therapy processes.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or a related field is preferred.
