Norwalk, Connecticut, United States Commonfund Full time

The Digital Solutions & Enablement team serves as the central hub for executing strategic technology initiatives across Commonfund's investment management businesses. By collaborating closely with business stakeholders, we uncover opportunities, design solutions, and drive adoption organization wide. Through structured change management and cross-team coordination, we ensure alignment and embed new capabilities across the firm.

As an Associate Director, you'll partner with business leaders across Commonfund to identify opportunities, tackle complex challenges, and design technology solutions that scale. This role requires both sharp analytical thinking and hands-on execution: you'll assess solutions, evaluate trade-offs, and turn business challenges into clear recommendations. Then you'll build the project plans, create the training content, facilitate the workshops, and track what's working. You'll apply this approach across the organization, focusing on cross-business initiatives that create the most leverage while remaining flexible to support any area where technology can drive meaningful impact.

This position is based in our Norwalk, CT office.

  • Analyze data to inform decisions, build business cases, and measure outcomes using Excel, data visualization tools, or analytics platforms
  • Serve as liaison between business stakeholders and IT, ensuring proposed solutions are technically feasible and meet business needs

Project Management & Execution

  • Build and own project plans from implementation through delivery, gathering business and technical requirements, creating project plans, and tracking progress against milestones
  • Directly facilitate collaboration across stakeholders through working sessions, training, and regular status meetings
  • Communicate progress and manage risk through executive-ready status reports, presentations, and proactive identification of risks with mitigation strategies

Change Management & Adoption

  • Create training programs, communication plans, and enablement materials to support successful adoption
  • Define success metrics and track impact; monitor adoption rates, user satisfaction, and business outcomes
  • Build institutional knowledge through post-implementation reviews, process documentation, templates, and best practices
