*The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced
Revenue Cycle Manager*
to join our leadership team. This role is vital to ensuring the financial health of our surgical practice by overseeing all aspects of the revenue cycle process, from patient access and billing to collections and compliance. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, strategic thinker, and proven leader who thrives in a healthcare setting.

*Key Responsibilities*

  • Oversee end-to-end revenue cycle operations, including patient registration, insurance verification, billing, coding, collections, and denials management.
  • Lead and mentor a team to optimize efficiency, accuracy, and productivity in revenue cycle processes.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to maximize collections and minimize denials.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and payer-specific regulations and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and financial leaders to align revenue cycle goals with overall practice objectives.
  • Develop and refine workflows, policies, and systems to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive revenue cycle management experience, preferably in a surgical or specialty practice.
  • Strong knowledge of ophthalmology billing/coding and payor requirements is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with experience managing and developing staff.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with EHR and practice management systems.
