a Senior Manager, Sales Strategy & Planning to be based in Jacksonville, FL.
Purpose:
The Senior Manager, Sales Strategy & Planning is a critical leadership role responsible for operationalizing commercial strategy, enabling sales execution, and ensuring seamless collaboration across Sales, Marketing, and Operations. This position drives the development, communication, and execution of field sales Plan of Action (POA) end-to-end ensuring integration into Sales Process including internal and external Automation and Enablement resources. Lastly, this position defines and executes the internal sales communication plan for the selling organization across multiple touchpoints (email, virtual, face-to-face connects).
You Will Be Responsible For
- Lead the cross-functional development and execution of the Plan of Action (POA) process, ensuring strategic alignment across the organization
- Serve as the strategic liaison between Sales, Marketing, Operations, and other departments to enable successful execution of company initiatives.
- Work closely with Sales Leadership in development of a POA calendar, ensuring a cohesive and regular cadence of communication across multiple vehicles
- Supports Sales & Marketing, up to and including the VP level, in the development & deployment of sales content for business meetings ensuring relevance and resonance with field needs.
- Collaborate closely with SFE, Professional Marketing & Training to ensure Digital and Analog Sales Aids and selling tools are consistent with POA and are seamlessly deployed with the appropriate training
- Shape and evolve the sales communication and resource deployment platforms, integrating new application capabilities aligned to our commercial strategy
- Manage sales administration deliverables and sales resources, including activity tracking, roster management, sales events, fleet and field technology.
- Improve FSO user experience, driving efficiency and execution by identifying and developing critical capabilities.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee third-party solution integration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of progressive combined experience in Sales and Sales Operations. Marketing experience a plus.
- Experience managing complex and interdependent projects required.
- One or more rotation(s) through these specific Sales Operations/Commercial functions including Communications, Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Sales Training, Sales Strategy, Sales Management, Marketing or Customer / Professional Marketing is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience planning, designing, and implementing Sales Improvement solutions.
- Experience working with senior leaders in understanding Sales Excellence needs and redefining Sales Capabilities.
- Medical device/surgical/Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-functional environment with a high degree of collaboration.
- People management and development experience is required.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Role requires up to 25% domestic travel.
