Accounting Services Administrator

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain accurate accounting data, reconcile ledgers, and meticulously analyze recorded transactions.
- Ensure compliance with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to guarantee the availability and accuracy of information.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external auditors throughout financial and operational audits, ensuring the consistent provision of accurate and timely information.
- Generate reports using statistical and functional metrics related to spending volume and nature, following specified schedules to ensure timely availability of all necessary information for review.
- Ensure compliance with cut-off dates, close general ledger accounts, and adjust in accordance with the established period-end calendar.
- Reconcile provision accounts promptly and accurately, and handle VAT/Withholding tax appropriately according to country regulations.
- Update the manual of booking continuously to keep the team informed about regulatory changes, VAT/Withholding tax, and accounting classifications for expenses.
- Verify, review, and maintain the accuracy of financial data (fixed assets, prepaid, gross margin, etc.) by identifying, investigating, and rectifying routine errors and anomalies in input data.
- Maintain clean and reconciled suspense and provision accounts, ensuring the company remains informed about its financial position continuously.
LANGUAGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS
Language Skills
- Fluency in English.
- Fluency in French is a plus.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office.
EDUCATION
Bachelor s degree in Finance, or Accounting, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE
Zero to two years of experience is a similar role.
