Job Overview:
As a qualified behavioral specialist provider, your role is to work with schools, educators, and students to improve academic performance, behavioral outcomes, and overall learning environments.
Behavioral aspects may include:
Schedule: Monday - Friday Minimum hours per week
Employment: Full-time, Part-time, Independent Contractor
Responsibilities and Duties:
Develop and implement educational plans to address identified needsImplement behavior support plans to ensure the successful remediation of problem behaviorIntegrate elements of person-centered planning as part of a coordinated PBS effortProvide parent training and skill-building activities at home and in the communityAssist individuals with developmental disabilities and their support staff directly or indirectly to find meaningful, lasting connections in their neighborhoods.Requirements:
Minimum of Initial Certification in Education + Talent/Interest in ABA/PBS/SPECIAL EDUCATION*LBA preferred, RBT,BCBA, SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHERS are acceptableFingerprint clearance as required by NYSEDBilingual PreferredSkills and Competencies:
