Job Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Camp Counselors. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a fun and safe environment for children to learn, grow, and make lasting memories. This is a paid position. Responsibilities: - Supervise and engage with campers during various activities and outings - Plan and lead age-appropriate games, crafts, and educational activities - Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times - Provide guidance and support to campers in their personal growth and development - Assist with behavior management and conflict resolution - Collaborate with other camp staff to create a positive and inclusive camp experience - Maintain accurate records of camper attendance, incidents, and achievements Skills: - Experience working with children, such as babysitting or tutoring - Knowledge or experience in theater, sports coaching, or other recreational activities - Familiarity with childhood development principles and behavior management techniques - Ability to educate and inspire campers through engaging activities - Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with campers and fellow staff members - First aid certification or willingness to obtain certification prior to employment year college student. - Arabic speaking is a plus.
