Responsibilities:Responsible for performing all duties of a Security Officer when necessary, performing as a first line supervisor over the Security Officers, duties to include report writing, employee evaluations and initiating disciplinary action, managing the work schedules to ensure proper coverage of both Casinos, on a daily basis, training, orienting and briefing Security Officers in security Internal Controls to ensure compliance with the Compact and the MICS, reviewing and forwarding security reports to the Security Director, maintaining all supplies needed for both security podiums, coordinating with Security Officers and Training Dept. to ensure successful completion of the Security Training Program, maintaining current Key Inventory Logs and perform locksmith services as needed.

Requirements:Must be 18 years or older to apply. Must have a high school diploma or GED. Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and adhere to the Tribal/Gaming's Drug and Alcohol policy. Must adhere to all Tribal/Gaming Agency Personnel Policies and Procedures. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong orientation to excellent guest service. Must be self-reliant and capable of working independently as appropriate or necessary. Must have a valid Arizona Driver's License and be insurable under the Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe's auto insurance carrier. Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Must be knowledgeable in the preparation and writing of reports. Must successfully complete training in self-defense and handcuffing. Must be able to lift and periodically carry up to 75 lbs.

Preferred Requirements:Prefer either five years' experience in security work/law enforcement or two years' experience as a Yavapai Gaming Security Officer. Prefer at least two years of supervisory experience.

Full-time, benefited position, starting rate $18.27-$24.31. Must pass a background security check prior to and during the course of employment. Open until filled.
