Shuck Oyster Bar is looking for a Back of House Lead to join our team We're a high-energy seafood spot known for fresh, quality dishes and a tight-knit crew. This role helps keep our kitchen running smoothly, food consistent, and team aligned with Shuck's standards.

Compensation: $22-$26/hr + tips depending on experience

Responsibilities

  • Maintain quality and consistency of all menu items
  • Work with Upper Management to maintain menu integrity as well as create and plan specials/special menus
  • Oversee weekly inventory and ordering
  • Work with FOH Lead and Management to meet COG goals
  • Create and manage daily prep lists for efficiency
  • Create and manage weekly and monthly cleaning/deep cleaning lists
  • Ensure food safety and health code compliance
  • Train and support new BOH team members
  • Communicate clearly with FOH on dish availability and timing
  • Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and ready for service
  • Report equipment issues or low inventory to Management

You Are

  • Experienced in kitchen leadership or line lead roles
  • Organized, dependable, and team-focused
  • Knowledgeable in seafood and high-volume prep
  • Passionate about great food and a positive kitchen culture
  • Able to multitask and coordinate/time out multiple tickets and timings
