We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Advanced Analytics Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will leverage advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI techniques to solve complex business problems, drive innovation, and deliver actionable insights. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions that enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned

  • Develop, test, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models for a variety of business use cases

  • Analyze large, complex datasets to extract meaningful patterns and insights

  • Partner across departments (Finance, Marketing, Sales) to improve data infrastructure and accessibility.

  • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and model deployment frameworks

  • Lead strategic data analysis projects to drive planning and operational enhancements.

  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through visualizations and reports

  • Stay current with the latest research and advancements in AI, machine learning, and data science

  • Contribute to the development of AI strategy and best practices across the organization

Must Have: Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor's  Degree

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree in data science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence or relevant experience

  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI and Tableau for data visualization and dashboard development

  • Strong experience with SQL and statistical analysis using Python, R, or similar tools

  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to influence decision-makers

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment

  • Must have experience in presenting data and analysis to multiple members

  • Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure)

  • Familiarity with machine learning techniques and predictive analytics

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$96, $144,000.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to all regular employees: Incentive plans, 401(k) plan plus employer contribution and match, Short-term disability, Paid time off, Paid holidays, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Employee Assistance Program, Non-qualified Retirement Plan Supplement (subject to IRS earning minimums), and Capital Accumulation Plan (available to Vice Presidents and above, or subject to IRS earning minimums).

Regular employees are those who are not temporary, such as interns.  Temporary employees are eligible for paid sick time, as required under applicable state law, and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Please note some of the above benefits may not apply to workers in Puerto Rico.
