Compass Intervention Center (USH facility):

Compass Intervention Center is located in Southwest Tennessee (Memphis, TN). This convenient location provides access to larger communities in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas. We work with children and families throughout the United States, including military families overseas. Compass Intervention Center is a free standing residential treatment center open to male and female children and adolescents from ages 10 to 17. Intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization services are available to male and female adolescents ages 12 to 17.

Director of Business Development

Position Summary:

The Director of Business Development, as an essential member of the Senior Management Staff, is responsible for directing the Community Education/Business Development efforts, and development and continuous refinement of the facility's business development plan. Consulting with the Chief Executive Officer and other Senior Management Staff, this position designs, develops, implements and directs the business development strategic goals, philosophy, policies, procedures, and systems and oversees all of the Business Development Department. This position is responsible for reporting, analyzing and presenting current market data and trends and for recommending/implementing appropriate Business Development strategic plans.

Director of Business Development Duties:

  • Formulates, directs and coordinates business development activities and procedures to promote the facility's treatment services;
  • Identifies, develops and evaluates business development strategies, based on knowledge of the facility's goals and objectives, market characteristics and cost of services;
  • Develops the necessary market research, forecasting, follow up and budget for the facility's marketing plan in conjunction with the CEO;
  • Directs the hiring, training and performance of the Business Development Representatives and oversees their daily activities;
  • Organizes and executes special events and tours for the facility;
  • Maintains appropriate database of community demographic data and service utilization statistics to be used in planning and program development

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field required. Masters of Business Administration or related field highly preferred.

Experience: Prior marketing and/or sales experience within a behavioral healthcare setting preferred. Five years minimum experience in organizational communications, referral development, workshop planning, sales management, and physician relationships preferred.

Licensure/Certification: Must possess a valid Driver's License
