Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server Assistant to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests by providing support to servers and maintaining a clean and organized environment. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about customer service and eager to learn more about the culinary world.

Responsibilities

  • Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to tables promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables after guests leave.
  • Help with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
  • Support kitchen staff by restocking supplies as needed and assisting with basic kitchen tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during service.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and needs promptly.
  • Support opening and closing duties including side work and set/breakdown tasks.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant, or similar hospitality environment is preferred is required.
  • Familiarity with food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A willingness to learn about culinary practices and enhance skills within the hospitality sector is essential.
