Catalent's Kansas City facility is home to our Oral & Specialty Drug Delivery, Biologics Analytical Services and Clinical Supply Services businesses. The site provides a range of integrated services for oral solid dosage forms, from formulation development and analytical testing to clinical and commercial-scale manufacture. The Kansas City facility is a Center-of-Excellence for our Biologics Analytical Services business. Our talented team has over 25 years of experience providing analytical services for stand-alone and integrated biologics projects.

Catalent Pharma Solutions in Kansas City, MO is hiring a Project Manager.
The
Sr. Project Manager
is responsible for leading the successful delivery and management of all assigned projects, while also providing necessary team coverage and serving as a mentor to junior staff. This role acts as a dual Advocate for both the company and the client, requiring excellent communication skills across various platforms. The senior manager will champion continuous improvement and exemplify Customer Service Excellence, utilizing a high degree of independent judgment to complete tasks and assist in developing strategic plans.

The Role:

  • Manage and oversee project coordination from award to completion, ensuring planning timelines are generated, monitored, and tracked for successful adherence.
  • Lead client meetings, teleconferences, visits, and Audits, taking minutes/actions and ensuring all required project documentation is generated.
  • Oversee and manage Project Coordinators and Project Managers (both local and global) to ensure projects are effectively set up and executed on time.
  • Ensure required project documentation is generated and liaise with the depot group for 3rd party depot set-up.
  • Oversee client set-up in the fusion suite and ensure ongoing support, including password management, is provided by the coordinator team.
  • Provide project supply forecasts and relevant information for S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) and client management; may lead S&OP for the site.
  • Ensure collection, analysis, and communication of KPI data and trends to relevant internal teams and clients.
  • Assist with departmental training and completion of training documentation for both site and global teams.
  • Mentor Project Coordinators and Project Managers both on site and globally.
  • Accountable for project financial elements including contract review, milestone management, budget tracking, and supporting invoice/aged debt resolution.
  • Other duties as assigned

The Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) is required.
  • A minimum of four years' experience of industry related Project Management experience is required.
  • Professional Project Management Qualification preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of IT systems
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
  • The ability to work independently or as part of a team, adopting a right first-time approach ensuring the commitments are met in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrated professionalism including excellent work ethic, positive attitude and experience communicating with external clients.
