Essential Functions:

• Show up to work on time in a clean, pressed uniform and with a good attitude.
• Provide all necessary information that a guest should need or be able to direct them to someone who has the information.
• Maintain a clean workplace and café
• Clean and sanitize work station and equipment.
• Keep supplies in and around grab and go stocked
• Have knowledge of menu and beverages
• Receive and process payments and organize checks
• Maintain a calm demeanor during times of high volume
• Assist with coffee station when needed
• Clean and bus tables when necessary
• Ensure order accuracy and quality
• Ability to follow directions and recipes and accurately measure ingredients
• Provide support to team members when needed

Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Experience in high volume restaurant preferred.
• Previous barista experience preferred.
• Must possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and give correct change.
• Ability to converse, read and write in English with excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Able to communicate clearly, concisely and accurately in a positive, upbeat and enthusiastic way.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, time management skills with attention to detail.
• Be flexible and eager to learn new things.
• Manual dexterity is essential.
• Must be able to maneuver through the café and at outside functions/seating area. Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time, bend, stoop, reach, kneel, crouch, twist, lift, push, pull and grip items when necessary. May occasionally lift up to 30 pounds; push, pull, or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Subject to wet or slippery floors, temperature extremes/frequent changes in temperature, and excessive noise.
• Ability to work varied hours in a fast paced environment in accordance with café operations and adhere to the attendance requirements of the café.
• Must adhere to the established appearance, hygiene, and uniform guidelines.
• Ability to adhere to and comply with all rules and regulations of the company.
