Job Summary
The Client Services Specialist is responsible for providing administrative and sales support. They enhance the client experience by providing exceptional client service, assist in safeguarding client assets and serving as administrative and operational support to the Wealth Advisor. The Client Services Specialist will perform a wide variety of functions independently, exercising confidential discretion and sound judgement in performing duties. They are involved in all phases of the client relationship and are experienced in handling simple to complex accounts and responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a similar client-facing role (Example: Financial Advisor Assistant, Associate Financial Advisor, Financial Planning Assistant, Paraplanner, etc.)
- 2+ years of Financial Servicesexperience in a professional office environment
- CRM Software experience (Example: Redtail, Salesforce, Wealthbox, SmartAsset, etc.)
- Office Software Products experience (Example: DocuSign, MS Suite, Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.)
- Financial Services Software experience (Example: eMoney, Money Guide Pro, Advisor360, etc.)
- Video Meeting Application experience(Example: Zoom, Go-To-Meeting, Skype, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Certification is preferred
- FINRA Series 7 & 66 or 7 & 65/63 Securities Licensing is preferred
- Active Life, Health & Annuities License is a plus
- College Degree in Finance, Business or related field of study is a plus
Role Description:
Prioritizing client needs and helping to create solutions is an important part of our culture and at the core of everything we do. In providing excellent client service as a Client Service Specialistyou will:
- Greet clients in-person, by phone, email, video call, etc., in a warm, friendly manner
- Initiate and track client paperwork and account transactions effectively
(Example: New/Existing account paperwork processing, RMD forms, etc.)
- Assist clients with routine account servicing needs (Example: Accessing account portals, eSign documents, resolve requests, questions, or issues and troubleshoot problems when necessary)
- Follow up on pending business with companies and clients
- Provide both pre/post Client Meeting Support for the Financial Advisor(s)
(Example: Meeting preparations, follow up letters/communications, money transfers, trades, contributions, etc.)
- Complete other various industry specific administrative tasks within established filing timelines/deadlines
- Update CRM System, Financial Services Software System and client data to reflect current and accurate information
- Ensure inquiries and concerns are addressed and resolved, achieving expected service levels
- Provide client-centric services to clients while developing a knowledge of the client's entire financial and family situation
- Ensure client business flow and communication expectations are met
- Assist Wealth Advisor with plan analysis, plan design and development of a client strategy to meet client goals
- Develop financial planning skills to assist with client investment planning and wealth management services as needed
- Establish a level of trust and confidence with the clients, allowing for any financial issue being discussed and solutions offered
- Develop effective in-person and virtual working relationships with the Wealth Advisor, company staff and vendors, ultimately providing effective, high-quality service for clients
- Provide thorough, high-quality research, problem solving and account issue resolution

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $ $43.26 per hour
