Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description

About Platform Distribution & Partnerships: Platform Distribution and Partnerships is a division of NBCUniversal's media group responsible for the distribution and monetization of the company's multi-billion-dollar linear and streaming services portfolio to pay-tv providers, NBC broadcast affiliates, consumer technology platforms and devices, and consumer brands. A key revenue-generator, the division is comprised of content distribution, affiliate relations and strategic partnerships across NBC, Peacock, Bravo, Telemundo and various FAST channels. 

The Executive Assistant is responsible for supporting the President, Platform Distribution & Partnerships. This position requires the utmost of confidentiality and professionalism along with the ability to interact with other senior executives and their assistants on a regular basis. The position will be based out of New York, NY.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Arranging and scheduling numerous meetings involving executives at all levels; maintain and update calendar; developing and maintaining relationships with executive assistants throughout the company; demonstrating flexibility, patience, and persistence in routinely rescheduling meetings.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality and professionalism along with a positive attitude.
  • Arranging travel and all accommodations including comprehensive and detailed itineraries.
  • Coordinating staff meetings, conferences, and client meetings as necessary.
  • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Arranging complex logistics for multiple-attendee and multiple-location meetings (presentation set-ups); Coordinating audio/visual, catering, and other needs for critical meetings.
  • Complete and submit all expenses through the Concur system.
  • Handling general office and administrative tasks.
  • Assisting with internal communications with staff and the broader Platform Distribution & Partnerships organization.
  • Researching and assisting with additional projects as required.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience working in a corporate environment supporting senior executives, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven expertise with Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to successfully multi-task and meet deadlines

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
