Operations Associate
Monte Carlo Productions is a Georgia-based event company that is passionate about turning events into unforgettable experiences. Our team is seeking a dedicated and hands-on Event Operator to contribute to the seamless setup, takedown, and organization of event decor and supplies.
Job Description:
This position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the office and warehouse in Atlanta, Georgia. As Event Operations, you will be an essential part of our event team, responsible for ensuring that our events run smoothly from behind the scenes. You will play a crucial role in the setup and takedown of event decor, props and equipment, as well as maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup and takedown of event decor, props and equipment, ensuring that every element is placed accurately and beautifully.
- Safely transport event supplies, decor, and equipment to and from event venues.
- Organize, label, and maintain inventory in the warehouse, ensuring easy access to items for upcoming events.
- Conduct regular quality checks on event decor and equipment to ensure they are in pristine condition.
- Coordinate with the event team to ensure that all event materials are prepared and packed for transportation.
- Oversee on-site operations during events, assisting with any last-minute setup adjustments or changes.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse space that adheres to safety guidelines.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of event equipment and decor as necessary.
- Provide hands-on support during event emergencies or unexpected situations.
- Maintaining being punctual and ensuring smooth operations, effective collaboration, and a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in event management or logistics is a plus.
- Previous experience in event operations, decor setup, warehouse management, or related roles is a plus.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift, move, and arrange heavy event equipment over 25lbs.
- Detail-oriented
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in using basic tools for event setup and decor assembly.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules and needs.
