Role Description

Entry-Level Attorney — Family Law

McGrath Gibson Law| Family Law Division - ON-SITE in Jacksonville, Florida

Status: Full-time | Experience: No prior experience required

The Role

We're seeking an entry-level attorney to join our Family Law team. You'll work closely with experienced litigators and receive hands-on training in case strategy, motion practice, discovery, hearings, and client counseling.

Key Responsibilities


•    Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and proposed orders


•    Conduct legal research and draft memoranda and briefs


•    Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and client meetings (with supervision)


•    Manage case timelines, deadlines, and client communications


•    Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to move cases efficiently

Minimum Qualifications


•
 Member in good standing of The Florida Bar


•    Strong written and verbal communication skills


•    Proven professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail


•    Willingness to learn and take feedback in a fast-paced environment

Preferred (Nice to Have)


•    Family law clinic, internship, or moot court experience


•    Comfort with MyCase case-management software and Microsoft 365
