Position Summary
The Hiring Lead is responsible for managing and executing full-cycle recruitment for front-line healthcare roles, with a primary focus on Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHPPs). This role partners closely with clinical leadership to ensure timely, compliant, and mission-aligned hiring to support high-quality mental health services.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for QMHPP roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding coordination
- Develop and maintain pipelines for QMHPP candidates through job boards, referrals, universities, and professional networks
- Post and manage job advertisements for front-line behavioral health positions
- Conduct initial candidate screenings to assess qualifications, licensure eligibility, and cultural fit
Compliance & Credentialing Support
- Ensure QMHPP candidates meet state, regulatory, and organizational requirements
- Coordinate background checks, credential verification, and onboarding documentation
- Maintain accurate recruitment and hiring records in compliance with healthcare and HR regulations
Collaboration & Stakeholder Support
- Partner with clinical supervisors, program managers, and leadership to forecast staffing needs
- Advise leadership on hiring timelines, market trends, and workforce challenges
- Support onboarding processes to promote retention and successful integration of new hires
Process Improvement & Reporting
- Track recruitment metrics (time-to-hire, vacancy rates, turnover trends)
- Recommend improvements to hiring workflows and candidate experience
- Assist with workforce planning initiatives related to front-line mental health staffing
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 2–3 years of healthcare or behavioral health recruitment experience
- Familiarity with QMHPP requirements and mental health workforce standards
- Strong knowledge of hiring compliance, background checks, and onboarding processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting for community mental health or behavioral health programs
- Knowledge of state-specific QMHPP regulations
- Experience working in high-volume or mission-driven healthcare environments

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35, $45,000.00 per year
