Accounting Manager

Our client is seeking a skilled Accounting Manager for their team. If you enjoy working hands-on in a small company atmosphere, then this full-time, direct-hire role could be a great fit

Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager

  • Oversee all accounting functions
  • Supervise, train, motivate, and assign work flow to accounting staff
  • Maximize return on financial assets by establishing and enforcing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems
  • Monitor accounts and maintain ledgers
  • Prepare budgets
  • Analyze data and prepare reports
  • Participate in audits and tax preparation
  • Ensure regulatory compliance
  • Perform additional tasks and special projects as required

Qualifications of the Accounting Manager

  • 5+ years of well-rounded accounting experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • Intermediate MS Excel skills; QuickBooks experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
