This position reports to the Operations Lead and involves evening/weekend shifts to align with client needs, with remote oversight from our innovative HQ.Key Responsibilities

In this hands-on role, you'll contribute to seamless operations by:

  • Core Cleaning Tasks: Perform detailed, thorough cleaning of commercial interiors, including but not limited to: surface dusting and polishing, carpet vacuuming and spot treatment, hard floor mopping and stripping, restroom and kitchen deep sanitization, window and fixture wiping, and furniture rearrangement as needed.
  • Waste and Recycling Management: Efficiently collect, sort, and dispose of trash/recyclables while adhering to Seattle's zero-waste initiatives and client-specific protocols.
  • Inventory and Supply Oversight: Track usage of cleaning agents, tools, and PPE; restock stations and report low inventory to ensure uninterrupted service. Maintain equipment (e.g., vacuums, buffers) through basic upkeep and safety checks.
  • Client Interaction and Quality Assurance: Greet clients professionally during arrivals/departures, address immediate concerns (e.g., "That spot needs extra attention? Consider it done"), and conduct post-job walk throughs to confirm satisfaction. Document work via mobile app photos for audits.
  • Safety and Compliance: Follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards, including proper chemical handling, slip-and-fall prevention, and PPE usage. Participate in monthly safety drills and report hazards promptly.
  • Special Projects and Flexibility: Support ad-hoc assignments such as post-construction cleanups, event setups/tear downs, or seasonal deep cleans (e.g., holiday window treatments). Adapt to varying site sizes (800–5,000 sq ft) and layouts.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate via team chat apps for shift hand offs, share best practices in weekly huddles, and mentor new hires to build a stronger crew.
