Integrations Specialist
AlphaDesk is Refinitiv's Order and Portfolio Management Software. AlphaDesk develops and supports the software for hedge funds and asset managers globally. We are a complementary team with good technical skills, and the quality of our software and client services is at the core of our business.

Our clients use AlphaDesk to handle their trading, monitoring, and reporting of their investments. Clients value our ability to integrate with their custodians and third parties for trade reporting and reconciliation globally. We are responsive and efficient in delivering integrations and it is one of the strengths of our overall offering. Our integrations team is responsible for our continued success in this area.

The specific role requires technical and leadership capabilities. The technical aspect includes developing of trade reports in C# & SQL, file transfer encryption methods, and ETL construction using in house tools and Regex. In a leadership capacity, you will be responsible for a team of specialists assigned to the Integrations team. Together you are encouraged to ensure integrations are completed in a timely manner ensuring new and active clients go live with new connections.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure integrations are completed on time for new clients launching on AlphaDesk and existing client business changes
  • Resolve issues from client services for sophisticated integrations issues in production
  • Contribute to our industry leading support as part of our distributed team
  • Partner with development team to expand AlphaDesk capabilities – eg new ETL processes, reporting and reconciliation capabilities

Requirements:

  • An undergraduate degree, preferably with a major in computer science, information technology, engineering, science, or equivalent experience
  • Experience working directly with internal/external clients
  • Solid understanding of SQL and C# an asset
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Phenomenal teammate with a consultative approach to problem solving
  • Willingness to learning emerging technologies and new software
  • Good time leadership skills, and ability to work optimally under time constraints
