Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and a passion for working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct support to clients and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess the needs of clients.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions to promote positive behavioral changes.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to care.
  • Provide training and supervision to staff members implementing behavior intervention strategies.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Advocate for clients' needs within various settings, including schools and community organizations.

Qualifications

  • Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) is required.
  • Must be a Medicaid provider.
  • Experience in applied behavior analysis, particularly with individuals on the autism spectrum.
  • Background in special education or related fields is preferred.
  • Proficiency in diagnostic evaluation and patient assessment techniques.
  • Strong understanding of behavioral health practices and interventions for individuals with disabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience working with children is highly desirable.
