Neu Appliance Outlet (pronounced "new") is Austin's #1 Scratch & Dent Appliance Outlet, and we're growing fast We're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Customer Service & Sales Associate to join our team.

What You'll Do

  • Greet customers in-store and over the phone with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Provide knowledgeable guidance on appliances, pricing, and warranty options.
  • Help customers troubleshoot appliance issues over the phone using our training and resources, and schedule service calls when needed.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently through our POS system (Shopify).
  • Schedule deliveries, pickups, and service appointments while coordinating with internal teams.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, text, and chat (Podium experience is a plus).
  • Keep product displays, pricing tags, and the showroom neat, organized, and up to date.
  • Review details carefully on invoices, delivery notes, and customer accounts to prevent errors.
  • Deliver a consistent, detail-focused 5-star experience with every customer interaction.

What We're Looking For

  • Customer service experience required (retail, call center, or hospitality preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail — accuracy and organization are a must.
  • Dependable, professional, and able to multitask efficiently.
  • Basic computer skills (Shopify, Podium, or POS experience is a plus).
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Appliance experience is a plus, but not required — we'll teach you that part

Pay & Perks

  • $40,000 per year base pay + commission
