Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting Catering Items from restaurants to the customer, while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and speed of service. All orders are required to be set up in a timely manner.

Duties

  • Maintain a safe driving record, valid insurance with the candidates name must appear on insurance
  • must have a personal vehicle
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • random inquiries will be conducted for motor vehicle reports.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Load and unload products efficiently ensuring that items are secured during transport.
  • Deliver catering/food items to designated locations within specified timeframes while maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays in a professional and prompt manner.
  • Must have a Hot bag or Plastic 24 gal tote with a lid and a cart for transportating product from vehicle to customer is a plus.
  • All Catering order must be set up to the customers standard
  • Time Management is a must

Experience

  • Previous experience working in restaurants; as a food delivery driver; or in a similar role, such as a courier or logistics is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Ability to handle large food orders at one time is helpful.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
