Senior Mechanical Engineer

Position Description

SynEnergy is searching for a Senior Mechanical Engineer focused on high performance building design to join our Denver team. SynEnergy is a nationally-recognized woman- and minority-owned engineering firm based in Denver, Colorado.

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the overall design, quality control and discipline leadership throughout the project lifecycle. We are looking for a leader with a passion for high performance/mission critical mechanical systems design. These key staff member's duties will include mentoring team members, leadership of the mechanical project scope, and working in a technologically advanced office environment on challenging projects with great team members.

Key Candidate Traits

  • BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • US Citizen or Permanent resident
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) required
  • Minimum of 10 years of mechanical engineering experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of REVIT
  • Ability to lead projects and teams from the RFP phase through design and final closeout
  • Strong experience in software tools such as Revit, BIM 360, Trane Trace 700
  • Ability to be charismatic and client facing higher profile projects.
