Overview

We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented part-time Hood Cleaning Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidates will possess a strong sense of situational awareness and work ethic. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and functionality of commercial kitchen exhaust systems, ensuring they operate efficiently. Our technicians play a crucial role in providing excellent service to our customers while demonstrating leadership skills within the team. Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough cleaning and maintenance of kitchen hood systems.
  • Utilize learned knowledge and situational awareness to understand exhaust system layouts and troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems with customer and company equipment
  • Collaborate with team members to build and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and inquiries professionally in accordance with company policy.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed and report any additional needs for repairs or maintenance.

Requirements

  • MUST have personal transportation to and from our North Port office.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs, this is a very physically demanding job.
  • Must be able to adhere to the schedule agreed on and adapt when necessary.

Would be nice

  • Experience as a service technician or in a similar role, within the cleaning or maintenance industry even better.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and situational awareness
  • Familiarity with cleaning and repair techniques and commercial kitchen exhaust systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently.
  • Leadership abilities to guide less experienced team members when necessary.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective customer and coworker interaction.
  • Willingness to learn new techniques, adhere to company protocol and procedures, and adapt to changing technologies within the field.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
