Pediatric Occupational Therapist-Home Health

As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, you'll help children with a wide range of needs — including developmental, behavioral, and medically complex conditions — build the skills they need for greater independence, confidence, and daily success.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support each child's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.

  • Provide direct therapy services in both clinic and home settings, promoting skill carryover across environments.

  • Monitor progress and modify treatment plans to ensure children achieve meaningful outcomes.

  • Recommend adaptive equipment and train families on proper use and integration into daily routines.

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed documentation, including evaluations, daily notes, and progress reports.

  • Collaborate closely with parents and caregivers to reinforce therapy goals and strategies at home.

  • Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, holistic care for every child.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy 
  • Must be licensed OT/L in Texas 
  • Drivers License
  • Exceptional communication skills with an ability to establish trust and rapport quickly 
  • A good listener with an ability to empathize while still providing guidance
