Description
Our mission is to help hospitals improve the management and outcomes of their most complex patients.
Kreg's Beds provide an innovative modality to get complex patients out of bed, mobilized and stabilized so they can progress to PT, LTACH, and ultimately home. Because not all the patients are the same, not all the beds should be the same. Kreg's offers a unique portfolio of specialty beds and 24/7 rental services to allow clinicians to safely and efficiently mobilize those complex patients. We are a small company, on a mission to stand out from the crowd and make Kreg Beds the #1 hospital partner to deliver better outcomes for complex patients.
Position Summary
The Clinical Specialist serves as a key liaison, in partnership with the Account Manager, between Kreg Therapeutics and clinicians at partner hospitals, focusing on promoting and supporting the use of Kreg's Vertical Bed technology and Bariatric beds. Reporting to the Regional Clinical Engagement Manager, this role partners closely with the Commercial Sales Team to drive clinical engagement, adoption, and education within ICU and trauma settings, especially Level I and II trauma centers. The Clinical Specialist's expertise and guidance will help hospitals achieve enhanced patient outcomes through new implementations, re-engagements, and sustained utilization of Kreg's technologies.
Primary Responsibilities
- Promote Verticalization Therapy: Drive the adoption of Verticalization Therapy (VT) in the ICU by educating multidisciplinary teams on VT's role in early mobility programs and improving patient care.
- Educate on Bariatric Bed Benefits: Act as a clinical advocate for Kreg's Bariatric bed, providing education on its benefits in strategic accounts identified by the Account Manager.
- Clinical Support & Therapy: Provide direct clinical support to multidisciplinary hospital teams, assisting with proper patient identification, therapy protocols, and product utilization. This includes the development or enhancement of protocols, policies, and criteria in partnership with ICU leaders.
- Demonstrations & Evaluations: Collaborate with the local sales and operations team to conduct product demonstrations and evaluations in target accounts.
- Clinical Trials Support: Assist Account Managers in clinical trials for new products in hospitals, supporting data collection and clinician feedback.
- Bed Fleet Management: Coordinate with the local Account Manager operations team for Bed Fleet Management as necessary, ensuring product availability and functionality.
- Product Operation & Troubleshooting: Gain proficiency in testing, troubleshooting, and operating all Kreg products; assist clinicians in product usage and troubleshooting.
- Customer Engagement & Service: Maintain high levels of customer service by engaging hospital staff on training and education around therapy adoption.
- Clinical Resource Development: Work closely with your Regional Clinical Engagement Manager and the Senior Director of Clinical to enhance and expand Kreg's clinical library of resources and educational materials for customers.
- Relationship Building: Establish and foster strong relationships with key clinical stakeholders and decision-makers in strategic accounts to build long-term partnerships.
- Daily Reporting: Complete all required daily reporting accurately to ensure thorough documentation of clinical engagements in and customer interactions.

- Professional Background: Registered Nurse (RN), Respiratory Therapist (RT), or Physical Therapist (PT) preferred, with experience managing clinical interactions and supporting clinical education.
