Job Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on a wide array of corporate finance matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, and corporate governance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents and agreements with precision.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations impacting corporate finance.
  • Work collaboratively with clients and internal teams to develop and implement strategies that address legal risks while promoting business goals.
  • Engage in business development activities to cultivate client relationships and expand the firm's reach in the market.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior associates and interns, fostering a collaborative legal environment.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and legal opinions on corporate finance issues to clients and stakeholders.
  • Assist in due diligence and transaction management processes for various corporate transactions.
Essential Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice law in Texas or eligibility to obtain such admission.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Experience
  • 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in corporate finance or transactional law at a reputable law firm.
  • Proven track record in handling complex transactions and providing legal counsel to corporate clients.
  • Experience in drafting and negotiating various corporate agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, investment agreements, and partnership agreements.
Salary & Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $310,000 to $420,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, the firm offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development and advancement within the firm.
