We're looking for a detail-oriented Site Automation Maintenance Technician to help us optimize our operations and maintain our competitive edge.

BLOC Blinds Manufacturing, LLC are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Automation Maintenance Technician to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, care, and maintenance of all manufacturing equipment and machinery.

Job Summary

This position requires someone who takes great pride in their work, thrives in a tidy and well-structured environment, and understands the importance of maintaining both machinery and the factory to the highest standards. You'll be hands-on with cutting-edge robotics, conveyors, and precision equipment, working in a modern, automated facility.

Responsibilities:

• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and execute improvements that enhance efficiency, improve product reliability and implement process improvements.

· The ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues with robotics, conveyors, machinery and automated equipment.

· Responsible for organising and performing installation and repairs.

· Working closely with internal and external partners building strong relationships.

· Ensure long term sustainability of equipment and processes.

• Deliver high-quality service and support with a strong customer focus.
• Keep work areas, tools, and machinery exceptionally tidy, safe, and well-maintained.
• Utilise technical expertise to diagnose and resolve issues with electromechanical and automated systems.
• Conduct strict routine inspections and preventative maintenance to maintain optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate and detailed service records, including inspections, preventative and corrective maintenance, installations, and inventory.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
• Follow all safety protocols rigorously, ensuring a safe environment for yourself and others.
• Be available for occasional weekend callouts, and flexible working hours as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

Essential

· A minimum of 5 years of experience working as an Automation Maintenance Technician within a high-tech manufacturing environment or automation industry.

· An associate degree in electronics/electro-mechanical engineering or a related technical field.

· Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment, automation, and assembly processes.

· Proven experience troubleshooting and maintaining robotics, conveyors, and machinery with tight tolerances.

· Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with a hands-on, detail-focused approach.

· Demonstrated ability to identify root causes related to controls, electrical systems, and automation hardware (e.g., sensors, drives, robotics), solve problems efficiently, and prevent reoccurrence.

· The ability to develop and implement control strategies to improve machine performance, uptime, and product quality.

· Exceptional organisational skills with a genuine pride in keeping the factory clean, safe, and efficient.

· Experience with data analytics to support continuous improvement.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

· Familiarity with OSHA regulations.

· Physically capable of performing job duties, including standing, bending, reaching, and occasional lifting of up to and above 25lb.
