Hotel Operations Associate

Schedule: Full-Time and Part-Time available; day, swing, and grave shift coverage; flexible schedule

Overview

Join our team as a Hotel Operations Associate, supporting front desk, guest services, housekeeping, laundry, and grounds to ensure smooth daily operations. You'll help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high standards for a positive guest experience. Your attention to detail and proactive attitude will be key to our hotel's success.

Job Duties

1. Front Desk & Guest Support

• Staff the front desk during scheduled shifts and assist guests as needed.
• Respond promptly to guest questions or issues via the mobile check-in/check-out system and in person.
• Support guests with room access, amenities, and troubleshooting; escalate concerns to management as needed.
• Monitor occupancy, room status, and guest needs using property management software.

2. Cleaning, Housekeeping & Laundry

• Complete room turns after guest departures, ensuring rooms meet cleanliness and readiness standards.
• Restock rooms with linens, towels, and amenities; perform quality checks before releasing rooms in the system.
• Collect, wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens and towels; maintain a clean and organized laundry room.
• Clean and maintain common areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, laundry areas, and shared spaces.
• Keep the property exterior clean and welcoming by picking up litter, emptying outdoor trash bins, maintaining walkways and parking areas, and assisting with seasonal tasks (e.g., snow/ice removal).
• Report room damage, safety hazards, or maintenance needs promptly.

3. Operational Support

• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure timely room turnover and guest service.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, laundry products, and guest amenities as needed.
• Follow safety procedures when using cleaning products, chemicals, and equipment.
• Uphold confidentiality, guest privacy, and hotel policies.

4. General Expectations

• Provide friendly, professional, and proactive service in a primarily mobile check-in environment.
• Maintain a welcoming on-site presence and assist with hotel operations as needed.

Job Requirements

• Previous experience in guest services, housekeeping, laundry operations, or hospitality preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, laundry equipment operation, and guest service protocols.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with guests and team members.
• Proficiency with property management or digital guest service platforms is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding guest privacy.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
• Frequent bending, stooping, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of objects up to 30 pounds.
• Capability to operate laundry machines, cleaning equipment, and hand tools safely.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, including folding linens and cleaning.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions as needed.
• Must be able to safely navigate stairs, hallways, and various property terrains.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
