Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a motivated professional to join their team, supporting the design and execution of a wide range of liability management initiatives across both investment-grade and high-yield markets. The role involves assisting with projects such as debt repurchases, tender and exchange processes, and broader refinancing strategies.

You will analyze financial data, industry trends, and market dynamics to uncover strategic opportunities and craft tailored recommendations for clients. A core component of the role includes creating clear, persuasive presentation materials that outline capital structure considerations, debt profiles, and prevailing market conditions.

The position requires building and enhancing Excel-driven models to evaluate the financial and strategic impact of proposed transactions. You will also collaborate closely with internal partners—including debt capital markets, leveraged finance, and sector coverage teams—to deliver comprehensive client support.

During active deals, you will work alongside the sales desk to interpret investor sentiment and monitor market developments, ensuring smooth transaction execution and adherence to tight deadlines. Maintaining strong compliance and operational discipline is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline
  • 1–4 years of experience in capital markets, investment banking, corporate finance, or similar fields
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to quickly understand complex financial topics
  • Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with quantitative analysis
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organized, capable of handling multiple fast-moving workstreams
  • Collaborative, driven, and proactive, with strong professional integrity
  • Ability to excel in a demanding, high-pressure environment
  • FINRA licenses 79, 7, and 63 are a plus
