We are seeking a highly motivated analyst to work within our Opportunistic Credit team in New York serving as a junior portfolio manager. This analyst will be responsible for monitoring and reporting performance across the portfolio and helping manage risk.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with multiple internal teams and third-party vendors to support portfolio workflows, resolve discrepancies, and ensure that information is reported accurately in a timely manner.
  • Help lead portfolio analysis projects including fund and investment cash flow modeling, exposure tracking and responding to ad hoc requests from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage the quarterly closing process for the opportunistic team, which includes valuation, portfolio review and recurring reporting to investors.
  • Candidates should be process oriented, proficient with technology and have an ability to be able to contribute to longer-term solutions to improve process efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from top tier university in a relevant field such as finance, economics (with a quantitative focus), or a quantitative discipline.
  • 1–3 years of experience in the financial industry.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with demonstrated advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with data queries or database management is a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic, commitment to excellence, and unquestionable
  • Highly motivated, proactive self-starter who is receptive to feedback and thrives in a collaborative culture.

The average salary for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 in base pay and is exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, location, skills, training, certifications and education, and in addition we will also consider internal equity and market data.
