Position Overview

We are currently looking for an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Raleigh, NC. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong diagnostic skills and a proven ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems in commercial and industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, maintenance, and service repairs on commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, split systems, chillers, and boilers.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and recommend cost-effective solutions.
  • Complete preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
  • Accurately document all work performed, including parts used and time spent, in service reports.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, providing professional updates, recommendations, and explanations of services.
  • Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other team members to ensure timely project completion and client satisfaction.
  • Follow all safety protocols, company policies, and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician, specifically in commercial or industrial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, refrigeration cycles, and electrical components.
  • EPA Universal Certification required; NATE certification preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
