Director of Nursing

Positive Changes, LLC, a leader in partial-hospitalization services for children and adolescents, has an immediate opening for a Director of Nursing. The experienced and dynamic candidate will be responsible for overseeing all nursing services, ensuring compliance, and fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for staff and patients.
The Director Nursing will operate within the objectives and policies established by Positive Changes, LLC Board of Directors. You will work closely with medical and administrative teams to plan and coordinate exceptional nursing services while upholding the highest standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all nursing staff.
- Conducts the position with established standards and policies of the company and the ethics of the profession.
- Conducts nursing duties as required and needed to ensure compliance with regulatory bodies.
- Evaluates and modifies goals, objectives, and organizational structure to provide the best nursing care.
- Handles nursing complaints, grievances, and disputes and administers the discipline process as required.
- Coordinates employee safety, welfare and wellness by working closely with safety officers at each facility.
- Reports on safety hazards and compliance with the proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Communicate actively and effectively with patients, visitors, staff, physicians, and other department personnel.
- Immediately assesses or delegates follow up of high acuity patients.
- Communicates and works cooperatively with other community agencies to include but not limited to schools, health care providers, law enforcement, and consumer groups.

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of medications and their effects.
- Demonstrate leadership skills, i.e. organize, assess, delegate, and communicate with team members.
- Demonstrate concern and courtesy to patients, families, vendors, and the public by giving appropriate information, advice, and assistance.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing and current RN state licensure.
- Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience in clinical supervision, program management, or related fields, with familiarity in Medicaid, insurance industry, and JCAHO.
Physical Requirements:
- Lift up to 50 pounds at times, frequent sitting, standing and walking, squatting, bending, reaching, twisting, walking across rough surfaces, and occasionally climbing stairs with or without assistance.
We offer a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, FSA, supplemental, PTO, and 401k match. Salary ranges from 70,000 to 80,000 depending on experience.
