The Role

The Brokerage Operations Process Specialist supports the Front Office functions of Cash App Investing LLC. You'll design, document, and improve workflows and resources that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and the customer experience. Working across teams, you'll identify operational gaps, maintain clear procedures and training materials, and ensure compliance with product and regulatory changes. By using data and AI-driven insights, you'll help streamline and refine processes, reduce manual effort, and scale our brokerage operations effectively.

You Will
  • Develop, implement, and refine operational procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy across brokerage workflows.
  • Identify inefficiencies and design scalable process improvements that enhance both internal operations and the customer journey.
  • Create, maintain, and improve operational documentation, policies, and training materials to ensure clarity and consistency.
  • Partner with operations, compliance, product, and support teams to align process updates with business goals and regulatory standards.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives by gathering feedback, measuring outcomes, and tracking process performance through key metrics.
  • Keep teams informed of product developments and operational impacts, ensuring readiness and seamless adoption.
  • Apply AI and automation technologies to monitor workflows, detect inefficiencies in real time, and implement process optimizations that improve accuracy and reduce turnaround time.
  • Perform regular reviews of workflows, systems, and resources to ensure compliance and service excellence.
  • Support change management efforts by communicating updates and promoting best practices across teams.
You Have
  • Licensing: FINRA Series 7 and 63 (or equivalent).
  • 3+ years in customer support or brokerage operations, ideally within financial services.
  • Strong process management, analytical, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Utilizes AI and automation tools to analyze workflows, uncover process gaps, and design scalable improvements that reduce manual effort and enhance accuracy across operations.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; able to collaborate effectively across teams and levels.
  • Comfortable learning quickly, managing multiple priorities, and navigating ambiguity.
  • Skilled in Jira, Salesforce, Notion, and other workflow tools.
  • A deep understanding of how processes impact the customer journey, with a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Composed, organized, and motivated by Block's mission to promote economic empowerment.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Project Management: Certification in Project Management (CAPM), Six Sigma, Agile or relevant project management experience is a plus.
  • FINRA License: Series 24
  • Bilingual: English/Spanish

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

$31.83—$47.69 USD

Zone B:

$29.62—$44.42 USD

Zone C:

$27.07—$40.63 USD

Zone D:

$23.89—$35.82 USD
